Sorin has a dart.

Over the years, that dart has sent him to more than 100 countries and 42 blindfolded adventures — and somehow, every destination ends up with a story that sounds almost too unbelievable to be true.

He’s slept in traditional yurts with nomadic families in Mongolia, crossed Yemen with a heavily armed bodyguard, stepped inside Diego Maradona’s first home in Argentina, walked across the world’s largest salt flat in Bolivia, chased volcanoes in Cape Verde, witnessed a whale hunt in the Faroe Islands, wandered the frozen wilderness of Lapland, paraglided over Rio de Janeiro, dined beneath the ocean in the Maldives, and somehow always seems to find himself in places where Google Maps simply shrugs.

When he’s not following darts around the planet, Sorin is usually following people. The most fascinating ones.

As a former international sports reporter, he’s interviewed legends including Muhammad Ali, Lennox Lewis, Evander Holyfield, Nadia Comăneci, and Ron Wood of the Rolling Stones. Those conversations taught him something he still believes today: every person has an incredible story — you just have to be curious enough to ask.

That curiosity eventually became Travel by Dart, the award-winning television series now seen on Amazon Prime, international TV networks, and airlines around the world. What began as a crazy experiment has grown into a global adventure proving that the most unforgettable experiences aren’t found in five-star resorts — they’re hidden behind doors most people never think to knock on.

Away from the cameras, Sorin is also an entrepreneur. He created one of the world’s largest fraud-prevention platforms, earned a place in Avenue Magazine’s Top 40 Under 40, and has spent his career turning unconventional ideas into successful businesses. Friends joke that he has the Midas touch. Sorin prefers to think he’s just stubborn enough not to give up when everyone else says, “That’ll never work.”
